So you end up broadcasting (officially multicasting,
but everybody gets it anyhow) the same DNS entries over and over again.
Which is good.  Because it is the only way to get updated information
to clients the moment they are updated, except of waiting for the
clients to poll for them.

(Less important for DNS, more important for change of on-link prefixes)
I can think of cases where it could be important for DNS too. But, without going into that rathole here, suffice to say that DNS is so fundamental to IP, particularly in IPv6 where humans loathe typing in raw addresses far more than in IPv4, that I don't mind the client being updated with the latest-greatest DNS servers often.
