Subject: RE: COPS for UMTSSo can someone explain to me what the COPS-UMTS-Client Type is that is beingdiscussed in 3GPP ? May I assume they are aware that they must follow IANAguidelines to obtain assignments for such Client Types?Bert

Subject: RE: COPS for UMTSI concur with Louis. The PDP context signaling is UMTS specific, its not an IETF signaling protocol, hence IETF cannot standardize any such client type.

There is no COPS-UMTS draft effort in the IETF. I don't beleive the IETF should define a UMTS specific
COPS client.

Hi all,
I was looking for a COPS client for UMTS and I'm wondering if there's currently a draft under way. Anyone knows?
Thank you,
Apostolis
