Bert and Randy and Steve and I talked about this, and while I think
there's a lot of agreement that versioning is a good and useful thing, the
fact of the matter is that nobody does it today, which rules it out of a
BCP, and as you say, Phil, just throwing it in without defining it doesn't
do a heck of a lot of good. Since the document was getting pretty crufty
with detail in some areas, and that was causing problems, I'm going to
take some editorial license here, and defer the whole issue of versioning
of result codes to a later document.
