While I too am generally enamoured of text config files....
1) Like 'simple text' doesn't come with encoding problems either.
Which locale to use, ASCII or EBSIDIC, 8 bit clean, unicode
or some form of double byte characters, sigh...
2) Now why would a human be looking over some arbitrary config
from a pool of potentially thousands of small devices?
Wouldn't one would simply reset nvram and reprogram
from a database and move on?
