HT: Sure, you can do that but IMO that's an operational/deployment
decision. From my perspective, I'd like provide as much deployment
flexibility as possible and minimize the complexity. Hence the example
of a possible usage. 

1) Flexible as possible never means simple as possible

2) I'm still unclear on this use case you mention
