RE: [AVT] Comments on draft-ietf-avt-rtcp-xr-mib-02

I can't recall from the top of my head why we did it this
way (certainly right now after a long IETF week).

Maybe we inherited it from the time when we had to describe
the SMI using a STD and some informational RFCs.

Anyway, I am a bit reluctant to go try and change the
boiler plate. It took a while to get everyone to agree,
and since it is just boilerplate, people can just cut and
paste it.

One problem also is that if we do change the boiler-plate
(once again? some people would say) then I can see that
for a period of about a year we're going to see that
some authors use the old boilerplate, others use the
new one. And what should we say then?
So that alone for me is a reason to not change unless we
find a "fatal flaw" in the current template.

Reasonable?

If not, I ask that ietfmibs subscribers pls speak up with good
reasoning as to why they want to see the change (or not).
