The piece of information that you provided that I did not have is that
the changes are agreed to (at least by those who participated in the
discussion) and so substantial changes are not as likely.

This informantion now makes it more sensible, at least from my view, to
have a last call when you publish the changes. Since I have not seen
them lets rewind back to my first question: when will you publish the
updates you noted above.  Thanks for telling me about RFCs and stability.
