Keith, do you actually have a concern about how we (CDI specifically) have
used slides in past meetings?  I thought that we had been pretty efficient
with people's time and had used the tool fairly effectively to make sure the
whole room is starting the discussion with a similar context.

If you're bothered about PowerPoint usage at the IETF in general, this
doesn't really seem like an appropriate place for that complaint.
