Dear all,

I have just send out draft-ietf-idn-requirements-02.txt to I-D on Friday
morning. You should see the announcement shortly.

Some of the changes in this draft include additional introduction by Harald
and other comments from John and some other feedback of the I-D from the last
meeting. I have also label each requirements by a [number] for easy
referencing. 

Lastly, there is also a list of RFCs which *might* be affected by I18N by Tan
Juay Kwang. However, I am not sure of the correctness of the list (I cant
believe RFC821/822 is not affected..:P) Please take a look and comment.

We are also behind schedule and I hope we can start working again. 

We need to do a few things.

1. On Requirement I-D, the feedback is that it is too complicated (40+) and 
   with conflicting requirements. We need to tone down some of the 
   requirements. 

2. We are behind schedule on proposals protocol I-D and evalution. I hope
   to extend this dateline from July to Oct/Sep so we have a few more months
   to get more proposal. As Harald mention, we encourage and welcome people
   to submit their implemenation for review by the WG.

Lastly, I am going to throw a stone into this pond :P 

I recieved some feedback and comments that perhaps IDN should add another
Action Item into its charter to include a Standard Track RFC for IDN. (Yes, we
strongly believe a technical solution might be possible). What does the WG
thinks?
