Re: RFC 5006 status



This showed up as a requirement in the survey leading to
draft-carpenter-v6ops-isp-scenarios-01:

"Simple automatic distribution of DNS server details is essential;
RFC 5006 support is needed."

Only one ISP out of 30 mentioned this explicitly, although seven stated
an intention to support SLAAC (often combined with DHCPv6). However, it
does seem like the one essential feature for an all-SLAAC deployment.
