It is not a question of sophistication, but of flexibility. 
Can you explain to me the point of complexity? 
For me, as long as one computes correctly the 
unreserved bandwidth for the TE-Class and 
advertises, the solution should work. 
That should be the only "requirement". This is a 
local computation on the node considering the 
BC model used on a given link. There is no need 
to advertise the BC model to anybody. So how does
it increase complexity by allowing multiple models
in the network?
