How fast is the data rate at Internet core routers?

Hello folks,

I searched on the Internet and in the IEEE electronic
journals but could not find what I need.

The only place that is close to what I want is this:
http://stryper.uits.iu.edu/abilene/aggregate/summary.cgi?rrd=abilene-aggregate

where it talks about 5Gbps at the Abilene core routers
on  the Internet 2.

Does anyone know the information on the current
Internet?
