Diana,
I believe I found the answer to one of your good questions which I have been wondering about myself. The answer to "can an EXTENDS PRC be specified as the base for another EXTENDS PRC?" can be found in this statement in rap-sppi-02: The sparsely- augmented row can be a base row definition, or another sparse row augmentation. Specifically, I interpret that as meaning, for example a row in the frwkIpFilter Table can extend a row in the frwk802Filter table (ref framework-pib-02). However, I did not see it explicitly stated how to associate the extend with the sparsely-augmented row. Is there a mechanism to use the OID of the instance of the extended table?

Subject: rap-sppi-02 EXTENDS clause instance mapping??
How is an EXTENDS instance related / associated with a specific base
instance? For example how is an instance of the frwkIpFilterTable map to the
appropriate instance of frwkBaseFilterTable?
I'm not seeing any description of the mechanism associating an extends
instance and its base instance in the SPPI and/or the Framework Policy
Information Base draft -- maybe I'm seeing and not understanding ;-)
Also, can an EXTENDS PRC be specified as the base for another EXTENDS PRC?
Thanks,
Diana
