COPS

Title: COPS

All,

I have two related questions regarding RFC2748:
1.  Page 28, Para 3.8  Client-Close (CC):  This paragraph does not explicitly state the PDP processing requirements as a result of receiving a CC from a PEP.  For example, in the instance of a PEP sending a CC message due to failure or reboot should the PDP remember all request-states associated with the specified <client-type, PEPID>?

2.  Page 27, Para 3.6  Client-Open (OPN):  If it states that the PDP uses the LastPDPAddr object for state synchronization purposes, then the PDP must remember states and likewise not remove any <client-type, PEPID, client-handle> information.  Are there any other uses for the LastPDPAddr object implicitly stated?
