I don't think a vendor is dictating anything (but I will note that
Barry provided the
initial motivation for this work to come to the IETF in the first
place and has been
very helpful throughout the process).   As an author, I noted, I am
ambivalent about
status.   That being said, I am following the guidance of the chairs
and AD WRT status.
