RE: Methods in the NIM requirements

Walter,
The cross object is one example. I could use a method also for he tuple.
I will give another example. We set up a cross connection by
sending an operation to a fabric object.
There are many ways to set up a cross connect.
One can do pt to pt, pt to multipoint and other
scenarios found in ATM documents.
Fabric is the right entity to send the request
as it is cross connecting points that are in the fabric.
However this would not be appropriate to model
as attributes and sets as there is complex behaviour to
be specified and also impacts how the terminations are
identified.
In some cases like set up subnetwork, it is possible to request the two ends
and not be concerned with all the intermediate steps.
In this case again, we model using methods.
