session handling

Hi,

I have an implementation question on the session
establishment and conducting the session.

1) Given that upon session creation the agent sends
the session-id as part of the hello message,

Is the client required to send the session-id in each
of the requests to the agent. How else is the agent
going to identify that a given request belongs to what
session. Is it required that client and agent have a
connection opened to each other for the entire
duration of the session. What happens if the client
loses the connection due to some network failure.
Should agent implement that as a kill-session or
end-session request.

Will be great if someone help me with this.
