RE: Where do we go from here?

humans will receive data from applications and boxes
applications will receive data from boxes and humans

i suspect all six arrows are there. while woody stressed the
arrows between humans and boxes, and hence was quite concerned
about their completeness, security, congruence with the arrows
between boxes and applications and applications and humans.

by asking what the high-level requirements for the transports are,
and then chosing a transport which meets them. but i think we have
some higher order decisions/discussions to make before getting to
the transport. for example what is being transported, between what
entities, when, and so forth.

i don't know yet. e.g. i suspect i want authentication and
privacy, though i am not sure there is agreement on this. but i
have purposfully refrained from thinking about the identity model,
as i don't want to get too far ahead of the gang.
