Info on XML based Management work at Avaya Labs

Hi!
I wanted to share our work on XML based management at the BOF on last Monday.
W were not ready to share the information at that time. 
Any way, I have set up a web page with the info now. Please feel

Specifically, we have defined and implemented a mapping of SNMP SMI to 
XML schema. The tool is an extension of our previously built tool for 
mapping SMI to CORBA-IDL (JIDM) which is currently available from 
Bell Labs site. 
The mapping is similar to libsmi but with some 
differences in mapping the SMI meta-info (OID, SYNTAX, etc.).
We use attribute axis of an element instead of embedding 
in the annotation (comment) part of the element. 

We have to distribute the tool as soon as we get 
management approval.
