This is exactly why I am interested in this area. Vendors have
proved that this is practical. Operator interest indicates that it
is potentially useful. The technology is new enough that the IETF
should be able to influence how XML configuration products are
developed.

And the clincher -- both the practicality and the usefulness of an
XML configuration mechanism could be improved if we all do it the
same way.
