SUMMARY

MPLS fast reroute is considered as a possible solution to protect
traffic against link and node failures by re-directing the traffic
locally to a backup LSP. This document describes a method to specify the
path of each local backup LSP by the ingress router and a method to make
the path of each local backup LSP visible to the ingress router of the
main LSP.
