I have no problem with class-specific rules. Servers reject queries for
unknown classes so there is no conflict in the normal scenario.

I would greatly prefer that new RRs in the IN class only use stringprep
profiles and the i18n namespace if they need eight-bit data, simply
because the data-typing provides benefits. However, if an application
needs to store eight-bit RR-specific data -- and if the application is
specifically willing to forego any ACE conversion -- then I see no reason
to prohibit it.
