i also keep a raw archive of the wgs
  o web is <http://ops.ietf.org/lists/wgname/>
  o unix mbox format is <ftp://ops.ietf.org/pub/lists/wgname.yymm>

it is a wg chair's responsibility to see that the ietf.org mail archive is
subscribed to the wg's mailing list.
