I agree with this view - so what about "Request Navigation" or "Client
Navigation" or "Request Navigation System"? A colleague of mine came
up with this term, and I basically like it. A navigator helps in
finding things by giving you the direction, but not necessary the
exact description of the way. And that's, for example, what the
DIRECTION STEERING SYSTEM in the CDN architecture does - it points you
to the right direction (i.e. the destination CDN), but not necessarily
the exact destination (i.e. the target surrogate).
