question on draft-ietf-ccamp-gmpls-recovery-e2e-signaling

I have a question
about the use of end-to-end recovery signaling in conjunction with graceful
restart following nodal faults.
Is it expected that
the end-to-end recovery signaling protocol will handle the restart of either of
the ingress or egress nodes during switchover or reversion processing, where
that node implements graceful restart mechanisms as described in
RFC3473?
If so then what is
the effect on, for example, the end-to-end switchover request/response procedure
of one of the end-nodes restarting?
