Diego,
        Initially, TNE 1 does not realize that its TE Links a and b
        are connected to TNE 2 and its TE Links c and d are
        connected to TNE 3

        Now, say that TNE 1 performs link verification with TNE 2. It
        will perform link verification for ALL the 4 TE Links.

        I will not describe the details of  how link verification works 
here, but
        TNE 1 will determine that its TE Link a (and member data links)
        and TE Link b are connected to TNE 2.

        That leaves only data links c and d "hanging". So, when TNE 1
        then performs link verification with  TNE 3, it will find (when it
        gets Test Status Success message) that member data links of
        TE Links c and d are connected to TNE 3.

        In short, as part of link verification, in addition to remote link ID,
        nodes would be learning the neighbors a given data link is connected
        to as well.
