Finding Remote IfIndex for OSPF for Unnumbered case

Hi,

In ISIS, an attempt to add "Link Identifier TLV" was made to discover remote 
Link Identifier for Unnumbered Interfaces 
[draft-ietf-isis-gmpls-extensions-08.txt]. It was pointed out that ISIS 
already has an existing mechanism to exchange link identifiers - see 
draft-ietf-isis-3way-05.txt.

Any way, while we're covered well in ISIS for this purpose, I was wondering 
what is the mechanism that should be used in OSPF in this regard? Is there 
anything that exists today and we can use, or there are some plans for 
adding a new sub-TLV, similar to "Link Identifier TLV" that was added to 
ISIS?
