An old and wise consultant used to advise me that there were
management solutions to technical problems but never
technical solutions to management problems.
IETF and ITU-T are both successful organisations - else I
would never get your messages nor you mine - but with very
different ways of working and until we find a way that works
for both of us, solving the management problem, we can never
resolve technical issues such as these.
