i'll try to answer this one...

5.1.1. Multi-homed Home Network

In this case, the Home Network of the Mobile Node (MN) is multi-
homed. This implies the availability of multiple Home Network
prefixes, resulting on multiple HoAs for each MN........

Is the "multihomed home network" equal to the multiple home networks?

not really, this means that the home network is multihomed, meaning that the home network is located in a multihomed site, i.e. that the home network is attached to the internet through multiple providers and that each of these providers has delegated a prefix to the home network

The result is that there are multiple prefix in the home network (as in any multihomed site) and that each of the prefixes available corresponds to on of the isp providing internet access to the home network

or what are their differences?
or could the "multihomed home network" be replaced with the "multiple home networks"?

i guess not, a mobile node that has multiple (single-homed) home networks is a multihomed mobile node but the home networks are not multihomed

this is kind of messy, i agree

I think, like a multihomed node, a multihomed home network should refer to a single home network (i.e. a network prefix) can be reachable through different paths. Therefore, for a single home network, no matter it is multhomed or not, it should be a home network prefix.

Is my understanding right?

almost

a multihomed home network refers as you say to a single home network indeed but this home network is multihomed, meaning that it has multiple providers, hence multiple prefixes

hope this helps

regards, marcelo

Deguang
