NETCONF Design Team Notice

Hi,

A design team has been formed to assist the NETCONF WG in evaluating
technical issues encountered in the development of the NETCONF
protocol.

The design team is chartered for the following tasks:

  - review the transport requirements section of the
    netconf protocol document
  - review the security requirements section of the
    netconf protocol document
  - suggest which transports to standardize for netconf  
    and determine details for each mapping
  - suggest the mandatory-to-implement transport
  - evaluate if multiple channels are required
  - suggest how are security parameters passed to the netconf engine
    for each transport type
  - evaluate details of the authorization model

The following people are part of this design team (in alphabetical order):
