SUMMARY

The virtual circuits for a provider provisioned virtual private
network (PPVPN) using MPLS may be set up in a number of ways. This
draft discusses the use of RSVP-TE as a VC setup mechanism.

WHERE DOES IT FIT IN THE PICTURE OF THE SUB-IP WORK

  PPVPN

WHY IS IT TARGETED AT THIS WG

This draft deals with the method of establishing VCs for a PPVPN.
It complements the Martini transport draft with an alternative VC
establishment method based on RSVP-TE, which may be desirable
  for some service providers.

JUSTIFICATION

The draft itself spends a lot of time explaining why this would
be of interest as an alternative to LDP for some providers.
